Refund policy

At De Piel Bonita, we are committed to providing high-quality Korean skincare products. Because these are personal care items, we maintain a strict return policy.

Order Cancellations & Changes

Orders are processed quickly. If you need to cancel or modify your order (shipping address, items, etc.), please email us at depielbonita@gmail.com within 12 hours of placing the order.

After the 12-hour window, we may not be able to cancel or change the order as it could already be in processing or shipped. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more details.

Eligibility for Returns

We do not accept returns due to change of mind or buyer’s remorse.

Returns are only accepted in the following cases:

  • The return is due to our error (damaged, defective, expired, or wrong item shipped).
  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging with all seals, shrink wrap, and labels intact.
  • You provide the original receipt or order number.

Important: Once a product is opened, it cannot be returned or refunded for hygiene and safety reasons. All returns are thoroughly inspected.

Return Window

United States: 15 days from delivery date.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us within the Return Window at depielbonita@gmail.com.
  2. Include your order number and reason for return.
  3. Provide clear photos of the issue (for damaged/defective/wrong items).
  4. If approved, we will provide return instructions.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Return Shipping Responsibility: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return packages.

Damages, Defects, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If you receive a damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect item, contact us right away at depielbonita@gmail.com. We will promptly offer a replacement or full refund at no extra charge to you.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Any opened skincare products (serums, creams, masks, toners, essences, etc.)
  • Products with broken or removed seals
  • Sale, clearance, or “Final Sale” items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized orders (if applicable)

We reserve the right to deny any return that appears used, tampered with, or returned in unsanitary condition.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Approved returns must be processed first, after which you may place a new order for the desired item(s).

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We will notify you by email of the approval status.
  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake.
  • Please allow 5–10 additional business days for your bank or card issuer to post the credit.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at depielbonita@gmail.com.

Store Credit Option

In certain situations (sale items or minor issues), we may offer store credit instead of a cash refund. Store credit is valid for 12 months.
